Having dinner with a friend tonight, she shyly shared the new image on the blog which she painted. A lawyer, she doesn't think she's a very good painter, doesn't think it's very good. I love it. The intensity of the eyes. The brilliant crown and wonderful colors. She named it Broccobama because of the green head of hair. I thought she said Brook Obama. Either way, to me it is a great sign of our times. Maybe some day soon we'll see a black woman as President. Love it.
